Maple Worksheets

1. When you open a Maple worksheet from the apple server, you must drag the file to your desktop and not open it from the server (otherwise you will be unable to save your work!)
2. Make sure you put your name and email address at the top of the file when you turn in your work. I will be emailing the files back to you when I turn them back.
3. To actually turn in your work, you can either:
   • email it to me: thorntb2@slu.edu.
   • put the file into the "M315 Drop" folder on the apple server (mathshare.slu.edu). The catch here is that every file must be uniquely named (or else it will overwrite someone elses work or your work will be overwritten). I would suggest using your last name for the filename.
4. Some people have notice that there are issues going between the Mac machines and Windows (or unix) machines. Here is a program that I have used (on my Mac) that you might find helpful: CreatorChanger2.8.41.sit
