Help:
Prerequisites: Math 233 (co-requisite)
Homework, Schedue, Handouts:
Homework is due in class every Friday
Calculators:
While you are free to use any calculator for your homework, you will only be allowed to use a non-graphing calculator for exams. Something like this TI-36 will be more than sufficient.
Exams:
Grades
The basic calculation will be as follows:
20% Homework
20% Exam 1 Sept 22, 6:30-8:30PM
20% Exam 2 Oct 20, 6:30-8:30PM
20% Exam 3 Nov 17, 6:30-8:30PM
20% Final Dec 17, 10:30-12:30AM

Your grade on your final may replace the grade of one of other three exams (if it benefits you). The effect of this will be to give more weight to the final.

Grading scale without divisions for plus/minus. The scale may be adjusted slightly, in your favor, at the end of the semester.

F D C B A
0-50 50-60 60-70 70-85 85-100
Pass/Fail Policy: You must get at least a C- to earn a "Pass".
